Sergey Chernov, PMP
I
n his current role -- Manager, Enterprise Architecture at NiSource, Sergey is part of company transformation team tasked to take NiSource to a new level of Business and IT operations.  Previously, he held a position of Assistant Director of IT Strategic Planning at Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago where he was leading strategic planning, architecture and project management oversight for a central IT group. Prior to joining NEIU, he led several large-scale internal IT projects for Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. Sergey started his career at Emerson Electric where he was responsible for project management and implementation of B2B e-commerce systems. Sergey is a certified project manager (PMP) and has earned a Masters of Science in Information Systems Management degree from Loyola University Chicago and Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Indiana University.


Hemant Javeri

Hemant Javeri is a Consultant Architect, Enterprise Software Solution (Contractor, Northern Trust).  He is a Sun Certified Java Architect & Software Consultant with 14 years of experience in all phases of the software development life cycle. Hemant has extensive knowledge of JMS specification and transports using MQ Series, EMS, Weblogic JMS, Websphere JMS , Sonic ESB & ULLink. He has also established best practices, training and mentoring in application development using Java, Tibco and other application integration and data persistence technologies. Hemant has an in-depth knowledge of Enterprise Design Patterns, Application & Data Integration using ETL, ESB, EAI and Web Services and extensive knowledge of application development using application servers such as Weblogic, Websphere and JBOSS and EJB Specifications. He has more than 10 years experience leading application development & architecture teams in financial, healthcare, telecommunication and logistics industries.


Michael Keen

Michael Keen is an Enterprise Architect and Strategist at visionapp North America. Keen, a Citrix Technology Professional (CTP), has spent much of his time speaking in front of C-level executives and other business groups around North America on how to transform Information Technology into Business Technology. Michael is an expert in using dynamic IT concepts with virtualization and delivery infrastructures. Michael is an experienced blogger, as well. He’s spent years writing blogs and columns for independent industry experts Brian Madden and Douglas A. Brown.


Eric Ledyard

Eric Ledyard steers Ahead’s technology vision and is responsible for defining the company's evolving technology strategy. Eric works directly with Ahead customers to understand their current environment and assist in designing solutions that address current needs while keeping an eye on future requirements. Prior to joining Ahead, Eric was the Sr. Systems Engineer for the Business Continuance and Disaster Recovery team, managing 20 states in the Midwest. Eric was a key member of the technical competitive analysis team at EMC providing expert insight on Hitachi Data Systems and IBM virtualization products. Prior to working at EMC he held engineering roles for Sun Microsystems as storage specialist as well as two technology resellers specializing in storage solutions as well as high-performance systems architecture. Prior to transitioning into a pre-sales architecture, Eric has significant end user experience where he was hands utilizing the technology and managing data center environments, this experience provides him with a profound understanding of all aspects of the value chain. Eric attended the Purdue School of Engineering with focus on Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering Technology.


Praveen Moturu

Praveen Moturu is currently working as an Enterprise Architect at Health Care Service Corporation, a Mutual Legal Reserve Company (HCSC). He has more than 14 years’ experience providing strategic planning, enterprise leadership, driving business and it alignment, guiding top-tier organizations in areas pertaining to business transformation, enterprise architecture and business performance improvement. Mr. Moturu has extensive expertise in leading and implementing enterprise-wide business/technology strategies and innovative solutions with background in senior management positions as a Consulting Partner, Principal-Strategy Consulting, Director of eBusiness Practice, Solutions Architect and Senior Enterprise Architect. Experienced in turnaround and change leadership, mentoring and managing high skilled architects, and management of subject matter experts in the accomplishment of enterprise IT programs. His focus areas have been planning, definition and execution of strategy and management of complex implementation projects, establishing strategic relationships, new technology adoption, future state business and technology architecture definition, and the alignment of IT investments with business strategy by collaborating with key departments/stakeholders of the enterprise. His current engagements are focused on processes integration, enterprise reference model development and service oriented architecture governance, roadmap, and adoption. Mr. Moturu has a master’s degree in IT and is a certified Enterprise and Business Architect. Prior to joining HCSC, he held positions at CNA Insurance and Cambridge Technology Partners.


Mark Phinick

Mark Phinick has over 20 years of experience helping clients leverage innovative technology for overall increased efficiency and cost saving.  In his current position at BigFix, Mark helps to educate clients on how to reduce spending on software licenses, infrastructure costs and PC energy consumption while ensuring continuous endpoint protection and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining BigFix, Mark held similar positions at IBM, webMethods, Forté Software and other companies delivering ‘breakthrough’ technologies that have since become mainstream solutions.


Bernadette Rasmussen

Bernadette Rasmussen is VP and Chief Enterprise Architect at Health Care Service Corporation. 14 years experience in IT architecture with 13 years experience in a formal Enterprise Architecture organization. Career responsibilities range across Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Emerging Technologies, Web Operations, Architecture Frameworks, and Enterprise Component Development. Joined Health Care Service Corporation in 2003 as a Senior Manager of Enterprise Architecture to assist in the growth of the HCSC Enterprise Architecture organization and associated practices. Named Chief Enterprise Architect, Divisional Vice President in 2008.

Under his leadership, Solstice has lead the industry in delivering practical enterprise mobile solutions in the Banking, eBusiness, Real Estate, Security and GRC domains. In addition to consulting, J has written and instructed courses and workshops for the Fortune 500 and various universities. He has served as a guest speaker on emerging technology topics at many Technology Conferences and CIO Forums and has been interviewed and published in many of the industries top trade journals including InfoWorld, CIO Magazine, ComputerWorld and CIO Insight.  J earned his Bachelors in Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
