Peter
Beniaris
Peter Beniaris is an
information technology and financial services professional with twenty
years of diversified experience in the computer services, insurance, and
retail industries. Background includes data center management and
consulting, middleware and Internet systems management, middleware
architecture and engineering, managing a corporate desktop computing
environment, managing systems integration projects, managing the design
and implementation of enterprise reporting systems, financial
management, and auditing of financial and operational controls and group
benefits administration. Peter has a Master of Science in Computer
Science, and carries designations as a Certified Internal Auditor and
Certified Information Systems Auditor.

Kyle Bowerman
Kyle Bowerman is
responsible for both Enterprise
and Carrier IP traffic performance management, and IP OSS integration at
U.S. Cellular®. Coming from a router and ATM background and having a
passion for programming and open source network management tools, this was a
natural evolution for Kyle. He has held positions in broadband access
networking engineering, at Focal Communications, where he deployed DSL
infrastructure across the East coast, and WAN network engineer, at Arthur
Andersen, where he co-developed and supported an international dialer used by
over 40,000 users in 70 countries. Prior to his technical career Kyle was a
fly-fishing guide in Alaska and Montana for five seasons. He holds a Bachelors
of Science in General Engineering from the
University of
Illinois Champaign-Urbana.
Kyle now resides in Downers Grove Illinois with his wife Sophie and two sons
Nolen and Sam.

John Karabaic
John is a Systems
Engineer with KACE and helps organizations implement systems management
including vulnerability assessment using OVAl as well as patch management and
configuration management.

Fred Kwong
Fred Kwong has
been in the information technology field for the past 10 years in
consulting, engineering, management, and director positions. He
currently works at Zurich Insurance providing technical consulting for
all network related activities including project management, network
design, implementation, and network architecture. In his various
positions, Fred has designed and implemented wireless solutions for
mid-sized companies, to larger nation-wide organizations. Fred has
experience using HP, Aruba, Trapeze, and Cisco wireless solutions. He
has worked with 802.11x technologies using LEAP/LEAP2, WPA/WPA2, and WEP
security.

Brian
Shomock
Brian Shomock is Technical BDM at CITTIO, Inc.
He has 15 years in software business starting out in EDI and progressed
to Application Lifecycle Management while spending 5 plus years in the
Automotive/Manufacturing business specializing in Requirements Management
with companies such as GE, GM, TRW, Daimler Chrysler, Siemens, Navistar
International and many others. Focus has been wrapped around improving
quality while decreasing cost to the individual organization.

Jeff Stecyk
Jeff has been an
IT Professional for 15 years; evolving as an expert in ITSM, BSM,
and CMDB solution sets. Currently a Solutions Architect with
Tideway, Jeff has experience working with a vast array of business
verticals in support of various initiatives to streamline IT with
the Business. Coupling hands-on leading technology with Six Sigma
and ITIL Certifications, he leverages his expertise in these areas
while effectively managing successful implementations for large
enterprise organizations under aggressive timelines. Jeff has
familiarity with all aspects of pre and post sales engineering as
well as commercial software development. He resides in San Francisco
where he is an avid outdoor enthusiast, traveler and photographer.

Steve Tindall
Steve
Tindall has been in the Telecommunications industry for more than 27 years
holding positions in both the voice and data planning and support arenas. He is
currently the network capacity planner and is also responsible for certifying
applications for use over the Cardinal Health network. He has extensive
experience using protocol analyzers and network management tools from vendors
such as Netscout, Lucent Technologies, Cisco Systems, and EMCOM. Steve has
experience in supporting a wide variety of Cisco networking products including
VPN, routers, switches, and firewalls, in addition to Nortel hubs and various
dial up technologies. He has conducted training sessions on basic Network
General Sniffer use, Token Ring and Ethernet networking, overall data
communications operation, application responsiveness, and other related topics
to both technical and non-technical audiences at Cardinal Health and at industry
trade shows such as the ICA.

Jeff Trawick
Mr. Jeff Trawick has
over 18 years of experience in network architecture,
implementation, management and troubleshooting. He has been
contracted by many Fortune 500 and public sector clients to
provide expertise in performance optimization, problem
resolution, and IT security assurance. He was one of a very
small group of network engineers summoned by the Pentagon in
the wake of the terrorists attacks of September 11th, and
subsequently served as a primary security consultant for the
DoD. Mr. Trawick has been an invited speaker at industry
events, such as Networld+Interop. Mr. Trawick received a
B.S. degree from the University of Alabama and holds the
following certifications: Certified Information Systems
Security Professional (CISSP) designation, and Certified
Network Expert (CNX).

Dennis Wenk
Dennis
Wenk is a
Principal Business Consultant and has consulted worldwide with HDS’
largest customers during the past ten years. His experience includes
developing highly resilient architectures and strategies for complex
heterogeneous environments, conducting quantitative operational risk
assessments that justify investments for increased resiliency; he has
performed technology assessments, transition strategies, and site
selections for complex heterogeneous technology consolidations. In
addition, he has developed charging methodologies, performed capacity
planning and performance evaluations in large, complex IT environments.
Dennis has developed a number of risk-based services that quantify the
return on the technology investments that increase resiliency and
improve continuity programs. Current topical expertise include;
Virtualization, a Resiliency Enabler; Economic Impact of Interruptions,
Risk-based Business Continuity, High-Stakes Business Impact Analysis, A
Risk-Based Approach to Internal Controls, and Resiliency, Clearing the
Five Nines Hurdle. Dennis has written award-winning professional
articles and white-papers and has been published in Information Week,
Computer Performance Review, Trends and Topics, Continuity Insights,
Infosystems, Computer Measurement Group, and DR Journal and is a regular
speaker at industry conferences world-wide. Prior to his current
assignment Dennis was a Principal Business Consultant, Senior Global
Solutions Architect, HDS Consulting Project Executive and Director of
High Availability Solutions. His background includes experience with IBM
Global Network as an Outsourcing Project Executive; Comdisco where he
was Western of Director Technology Consulting; KPMG where he was Senior
Manager, Group Leader for IT Operations and Transformations, as well as
Heller Financial where he served as VP/Information Processing. Dennis
Wenk earned an MBA in Accounting and Finance, BS in Computer Science
from Northern Illinois University. He is a certified Information
Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Data Processor (CDP), and Certified
Systems Professional (CSP), certified in ITIL Service Management. He
was awarded Best Management Paper by Computer Measurement Group, and
currently he is the ITIM Focus Expert Business Continuity.
