Keith Baskin
Mr.
Baskin has been active in the storage industry since 1994. He has
served in an architectural role around various storage technologies
including: Virtualization, Management, Backup/ Recovery, Compliance,
Archive/Email Archive, Disaster Recovery/Business Continuance,
Performance, SAN, Storage for Databases, Replication, Tape/Optical and
storage management standards (SMI-S). Keith Baskin has worked several
speaking engagements, domestically and abroad, and has been published in
Storage Magazine. Mr. Baskin was part of several industry firsts
including: The first team to roll out an in-band storage virtualization
solution, the first team to introduce a storage management package based
on SMI-S, the first team to bring a Fibre Channel host interface with
Fibre Channel drive RAID array to market as well as the first team to
bring storage over IP (now iSCSI) to market.

Josh Bilow
Josh Bilow has
over 15 years of experience working in the software industry. Prior
to PKWARE, he held positions with Platinum Technologies, BMC,
Network Associates, and SourceFire. Mr. Bilow has served as a
strategic advisor on IT projects ranging from Network and Endpoint
Security to Data Warehousing initiatives for companies like Baxter,
Grant Thornton and Goldman Sachs. Mr. Bilow is a graduate of the
University of Kansas.

David A. Chapa
David
has invested over 23 years in the computer industry focusing
specifically on data protection, data disaster recovery and business
resumption practices. He has held several senior level technical
positions with companies such as Cheyenne Software, OpenVision, and ADIC
and Quantum. David is currently Director of DP Strategy/Global
Alliances at NetApp.
Prior to joining
NetApp, David served as Senior Technologist where his global
responsibilities included evangelizing the value of disk based backup,
integrated software solutions and the value of backup and recovery
planning with purpose. In his role with NetApp, bringing the same
passion and experience in backup and recovery, David continues to
evangelize disk based data protection, snapshot based data protection
and influences the backup and recovery strategy at NetApp.
David is an
energetic, dynamic speaker who brings a great deal of experiential
knowledge, humor and keen insights to his audience. He has been a
featured speaker at VERITAS Vision, CA World, Storage World, Chicago
Software Association, CAMP/IT and served as panelist on various
discussions related to disaster recovery, compliance and the use of disk
and tape for backup and backup/recovery strategies.
David has written
several articles and blogs, is the co-author of “Implementing Backup and
Reocvery”, the Technical Editor of “Cloud Security” and is recognized
worldwide as an authority on the subject of Backup and Recovery. In
addition, David is also a member of SNIA’s Data Protection and Capacity
Optimization (DPCO) Committee, whose mission is to foster growth and
success of the storage market in the areas of data protection and
capacity optimization technologies.

John M. Ferenzi
John spent seven of his ten years
with Motorola’s Mobile Devices Business Unit as a Disaster
Recovery Specialist. While at Motorola John has collaborated
with the IT Global Functional Areas and customers in order to
facilitate Global Disaster Recovery Programs and Projects for
his business unit to comply with the Motorola Corporate Security
requirements and standards policies. John has 10 years in
the information technology area as a Disaster Recovery
Specialist, Quality Assurance, Software Development Process and
Information Security. John also has 10 years in the Internal
Audit area. Prior to joining Motorola, John worked for Kemper
Insurance, Capital Bank in
Florida and a
banking holding company for Beverly Bank as an IT Auditor. John
is a Certified Information Systems Auditor and is in the process
of completing his certification as a Certified Business
Continuity Professional.

Ken Giden
Ken
Giden is a 10 year storage industry professional focused primarily
within the Backup and Disaster Recovery arena. As a graduate of the
School of Electrical Engineering at Purdue University, he began his
career with Storage Technology Corporation (StorageTek) in 1997 as an
Electrical Engineer on the STK 9840 tape drive design team. While
continuing his tenure with STK, he moved into Technical Sales
positioning the entire STK tape, disk, and library product line to
current and prospective customers. After STK, he spent the next 4 ˝
years at VERITAS Software Corporation (now Symantec) primarily
supporting one of the industry’s largest backup applications – NetBackup
– in addition to other Disaster Recovery software modules (replication,
logical volume management, clustering, etc.). After his tenure with
VERITAS, Ken joined SEPATON – one of the leading virtual tape vendors.
Now as a Senior Solutions Architect with Hitachi Data Systems, he is
supporting both Enterprise and Mid-Tier customers from a product
management and sales leadership perspective in the areas of: disk
backup (virtual tape), compliance reporting, and backup applications.

Sharon Isaacson
Sharon Isaacson joined Spectra Logic in
1994 and has spent her entire 13-year career in the storage industry
with Spectra Logic. Due to her tenure with the organization and
length of industry experience, Isaacson is a key contributor for
strategic company direction, and product development and planning.
As Spectra Logic’s director of product management, she is
responsible for working with the engineering and sales departments
to design and promote all of Spectra Logic’s enterprise-class tape
library products; Spectra products with AES-256 hardware-based
encryption capability; and BlueScale, the company’s proprietary
software interface that lets IT staff easily manage all their
Spectra libraries. Prior to taking on the role of director in 2007,
Isaacson held various positions at Spectra Logic, including: product
manager, SAN program manager, technical support manager, sales
engineer and support technician. Isaacson earned a bachelor’s of
science degree in computer information science (CIS) from
Metropolitan State University.

Dave Little
Dave Little joined VERITAS Software in April 1997.
He was a support engineer and helped develop the multi-tiered support model that
is a corner stone of the world-class support organization. In 1999 he joined
the Sales department as a technical product specialist. In this capacity he has
traveled around the world promoting NetBackup and frequently speaking at user
conferences. He also teaches NetBackup to internal VERITAS engineers and
consultants as well as partners, resellers, and customers. He is the co-author
of Implementing Backup and Recovery: The Readiness Guide for the Enterprise
and
Digital Data Integrity: The Evolution from Passive
Protection to Active Management. Prior to joining VERITAS
Dave worked at Control Data Corporation/Control Data Systems Incorporated for
almost 30 years. He worked as a software support engineer for NetBackup and
various UNIX operating systems. He was also the leading support engineer for
the super computers including the Cyber 205 and the ETA10.

Susan Nuccio
Susan Nuccio is Vice President/Director, Business continuity, Global
Information Technology Jones Lang LaSalle, a global real estate company.
She is responsible for creating, testing and managing the firm’s global
business continuity and disaster recovery. In addition, Susan is
responsible for project management of global infrastructural and
operations projects. She is a member of the firm’s Global Technology
Operations Group. Ms. Nuccio joined LaSalle Partners in 1990. She has
served as the Information Technology Group’s Manager for Technology
Services Delivery, Director of Technology Education, Director of
Technology Customer Care, and now as Director of Business Continuity.
Ms. Nuccio earned a B.A. from DePaul University, Chicago, Illinois.

Steve Sullivan
is the Director of Information Technology and Chief Security
Officer for Central DuPage Hospital located in Winfield, IL, with
convenient care centers and physician offices throughout DuPage County. Central DuPage Hospital is the third largest employer in
DuPage County and has been named as a Top 100 Most Wired and
Wireless
Hospital by Hospital &
Health Networks. Steve's role and responsibilities encompass
information security, business continuity and disaster recovery.
His broad background includes over 20 years in the IT industry
from computer/software sales, technical support, programming,
product development, change management, project management, IT
team management and regulatory compliance issues regarding
JCAHO, HIPAA and PCI.
