Dave Anderson
Dave is currently a Principal
Consultant with Binary Visions, Inc. in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
He has over 18 years experience in the implementation,
integration, and management of sales, customer service,
manufacturing, distribution and financial management software
applications. One of his most recent consulting assignments was
at Mid-State Technical College. Dave created a system design for
them that included: Server consolidation from 46 servers to 23
servers, Increased fault-tolerance through the use of a SAN,
Migration strategies for migrating security principles from NT4
and directory objects from Exchange 5.5 to Windows 2000 and
Exchange 2000. Previously he held various positions at Rhino
Systems, Inc. before becoming president. He also worked in
network services at Schneider National, Nielsen, JWP Information
Systems and Price Waterhouse. He also served as an infantryman
in the US Marine Corps. He has an MS from UW-Milwaukee and a
BA-Cum Laude from Lakeland College. He has a large number of
certifications including: PMP, MCSE, Microsoft Exchange
Certified, Microsoft Certified Trainer, Master Certified Novell
Engineer, Certified Novell Instructor, A+ Certified, Security+
Certified, etc.

Jesse Luna
Jesse Luna leads our Virtualization
Consulting Practice that delivers key services which help companies
identify consolidation opportunities, develop infrastructure lifecycle
plans and build virtualized infrastructures to help clients meet
business requirements. Acxiom’s full lifecycle solution leverages our
core competencies partnered with industry leading technical capability
to deliver highly optimized solutions for our clients. Jesse has
more than 20 years experience in the IT industry designing, building and
delivering IT services for a wide range of companies. In his previous
role as an IT consultant, Jesse worked with clients to implement tools
and technologies to optimize their applications. For 13 years, he worked
for Accenture’s Information Technology practice as a technologist and
senior manager. While at Accenture, Jesse oversaw many of the
transformational projects within the company to modernize systems and
implement new technologies for a global audience. He is proficient
in virtualization technologies, Microsoft computing platforms
(specifically collaboration tools, such as SharePoint and Exchange) and
active directory/directory integration services. Jesse is a member
of the National Society of Hispanic Professionals and is a frequent
speaker for industry conferences such as VMware’s Disaster Recovery
Seminar Series. He is a graduate of MacCormac College and participated
in training programs for Lotus, Cisco, Bay Networks (ATM concepts and
design) and Microsoft.

Steve McDonald
A 13 year veteran of the IT industry, Steve has spent the last 5 of his
6 years with Optimus Solutions as the leader of the internal IT
organization. Steve has guided the IT business unit to support periods
of corporate growth well in excess of 50 percent year over year. Prior
to leading the internal IT organization, Steve was a part of the Optimus
Solutions IT Consulting practice where he specialized in the design and
delivery of collaborative application solutions, infrastructure and
mobile and wireless technologies. As a consultant he has worked with
clients like Coca-cola, Lanier Worldwide, Con Agra Foods, COX
Communications and many more. Prior to joining Optimus Solutions, Steve
spent 7 years in a number of different IT consulting roles focused on
collaborative applications and a variety of other technologies. Steve is
a member of the Society for Information Management, the Georgia CIO
Leadership Association and the Technology Association of Georgia.

Edward O'Connell
Edward
O'Connell is a Sr. Product Marketing Manager at HDS for the
Enterprise and Commercial storage product
lines. Mr. O'Connell has been in the computer industry for over
20 years in Sales, Quality Assurance, Product Management and
Product Marketing for companies such as Santa Cruz Operation,
Apple Computer, Adaptec, Legato Systems and EMC Corporation. He
is a graduate of
San Francisco
State
University in International Business/Asian
Languages.

George Pradel is the Technical Business Development Manager at Vizioncore, Inc.
For the past two years, he was a Sr. Systems Engineer for VMWare. In 2006
George received the honor of SE of the year voted on by his manager and his
peers. George has had 20 years of experience in the computer industry which
includes nearly 7 years with Citrix evangelizing the benefits of virtualizing
the desktop. George has presented to thousands at Iforum and a key member of
the lab team at VMWorld. You’ll find George speaking at user’s groups and
extolling the virtues of virtualization wherever he goes. George is well known
for his use of analogies to transform complex technical concepts into readily
usable knowledge.

Lewis Prosper
As a System Engineer for
PlateSpin Ltd., Lewis Prosper is responsible for the successful
implementation of PlateSpin’s family of advanced workload portability
and protection software. Global 2000 companies use PlateSpin solutions
to lower costs and solve today’s most challenging data center
initiatives such as server consolidation, disaster recovery and hardware
migration. Prior to joining PlateSpin, Lewis held senior technical and
deployment support roles with a number of companies including KiSP Inc.,
John C. Preston Ltd. and CGI (Bell Sygma). A Microsoft Certified Systems
Engineer, he has extensive hands-on technical experience with
Windows-based servers and various web and networking technologies.

David Siles
David Siles serves the citizens of
Kane County as the Chief Technical Officer for the IT
department. For over four years, David has been responsible for
architecting the technical strategy and management of technical
operations for the county. In 2006, Kane County was chosen as a
finalist and runner-up in the Computerworld 2006 best practices
award program for infrastructure management for data center
consolidation. David has over 13 years of experience working in
the information technology field ranging from Internet start-ups
to large corporations. David is a frequently requested speaker
at various events dealing with the use of emerging technologies
particularly in the government arena. David currently serves as
the President of the Chicago VMware users group and is a member
of various professional and technical organizations. David is
frequently quoted on the use of emerging technology in
government and has appeared in many publications including
Computerworld, Government Technology, State Tech Magazine,
Information Week, InfoWorld, the Wall Street Journal, etc.

Kent Walker
Kent Walker is
currently operations manager for the corporate enterprise data center for
Underwriters Laboratories (UL) based in Chicago, IL.
UL’s worldwide presence
includes 66 laboratory, testing, and certification facilities serving customers
in 104 countries.
Kent has over
2 decades of experience in computer management, consulting, & design. Kent’s
career began with the management the IS department for a Midwest engineering
consulting firm. He soon established himself both as an internal resource and
an external consultant to large corporations & federal and state agencies. Kent
then became agent for change within the Tribune Company and it’s many holding
companies. And finally before arrival at UL, Kent was a department manager of a
large consulting firm managing the technology engineering consulting practice.

David Wollenweber
David Wollenweber is an IT Systems Engineer with 13 years of
experience in open systems.
He has held a variety of technical and team-lead positions at
Platinum Technologies, Inc., Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Inc.,
and presently at Tellabs Operations, Inc. The open systems
environments focused on high availability systems with clustering
technology on Unix, Windows and VMware platforms. He played a major
role in championing the VMware deployment and globalization effort
across R&D sites at Tellabs, optimizing system resources while
providing a reliable and scalable platform for future growth.
