Rita’s career
spans Big Four and boutique technology consulting with expertise in sales as
well as technology. During her career, she has sold over $10M in consulting
services, launched 3 internet based businesses and implemented a wide
variety of technology enabled solutions to drive revenue, reduce cost and
minimize risk. At Hospira, a $3B spin-off of Abbott Labs, Rita partners with
C-level executives to manage information risk. She is accountable for assessing,
monitoring and
communicating Hospira’s information risk profile. This includes leading the
organizations Year1 SOX compliance 10% under budget. Rita is committed
benchmarking wherever possible and has incorporated industry standards (CoBit,
ISO, NFPA) into her functions DNA.

Kenneth Berbert
Ken
Berbert,
Central Region Director at AXCESS International has over two decades of
experience in the Wireless, RFID and security technology sector. Prior
to joining AXCESS, he was the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for
SSS Research, a research and development company working with various
DoD agencies. In addition, his previous experience includes regional and
national technology sales and marketing positions with Aether Systems,
BitsPoint and Borland. Berbert is an alumnus of Benedictine University.

Mark Edmead
Mark Edmead, MBA,
CISSP, CISA, is the Western Region IT Director for Control Solutions
International. He has over 28 years of experience in computer
systems architecture, information security and project management.
He has extensive knowledge in IT and application audits and IT
governance, including Sarbanes-Oxley and operational auditing. Mark
understands all aspects of information security and protection
including access controls, cryptography, security management
practices, network and Internet security, computer security law and
investigations, and physical security. Mark has consulted with
Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies in the areas of information
systems and Internet security. He has worked with many international
firms and has delivered security presentations in Japan, China,
Singapore and Europe. He is an instructor for the Institute of
Internal Auditors and Learning Tree International, as well as an
adjunct professor at the Keller Graduate School of Management, where
he teaches graduate information security courses.

Mark Guth
Mark
Guth, Manager of IS Security at Nicor Gas, has over 20 years of Management
experience in the IT arena. Strong background in telecommunications,
network, and operational management for companies such as LaSalle
Partners, Ameritech, and Comdisco. For the past 5 years, my Nicor
Gas focus has been on operational management, internal controls
process development, Security, and Disaster Recovery.

Min Ju
Min Ju
is an Enterprise Security Architect for Symantec Corporation. He leads
a fast-paced, high-performance System Engineering sales organization
that directly supports the business goals of a $6 billion Fortune 500
software company. His responsibilities range from security strategy,
architecture and trusted advisor to security executives, senior
management and engineers to large enterprise customers. Min has a
strong passion for technology and 16 years of diverse experience in
information security, web architecture, infrastructure, networking and
development environments. Prior to this Min worked as the Manager of
Information Security and Security Architect for CDW Corporation, as an
ethical hacking team lead, vulnerability researcher and web architect at
Allstate Insurance and a senior consultant at Arthur Andersen in the
application integration and Internet teams. Min has spoken on security
at the Science and Arts Academy, Maritz Technology Conference, Wilbur
Wright College, Pennsylvania State University’s IST Future Forum,
Allstate Insurance’s AllTech Forum and has given various internal
security presentations throughout his career. Min holds a M.B.A.
from Keller Graduate School of Management, B.S. from DeVry Institute of
Technology, and numerous certifications including CEH, CISSP, CISA,
Security+, Linux+, MCSE and MCSA. In his spare time he enjoys it
with his family, barbeques and getting an adrenaline rush from amateur
auto racing.

Kevin Kumpf
With over
15 years of industry experience, Mr. Kumpf, Senior Engineer of SSH
Communications, provides customers with pre-sales and post-sales
support, troubleshooting assistance, and clarification of technical
requirements. He has taught Certified Information Systems Security
Professional (CISSP) classes and has an extensive background presenting
at major security conferences about various components of IT security.
Prior to joining SSH Communications Security, Mr. Kumpf was an
information security engineer on the Internet/firewall team at HSBC
Bank.

Bilhar Mann
Bilhar (Bill) Mann is Senior Vice President and General
Manager of CA's Security Management Business Unit. Bill is
responsible for continuing to build out CA's portfolio of
world-class security management solutions and
ensuring they are
integrated with CA's other Enterprise IT Management solutions.
Specific focus areas are identity and access management (IAM),
threat management and security information management (SIM).
Bill has 15 years of experience in security management. He
joined CA in 2003 to advance its security management
strategy and was
instrumental in CA's 2004 acquisition of Netegrity, Inc. a
leading provider of IAM software. Later, he was named
senior vice president of product development for CA's SIM and
threat management product families.
Prior to CA, Mann was director of product management at
Volera, a majority-owned subsidiary of Novell. As director
of business
development at Novell's Net Content business unit, he defined a
co-hosted content distribution service and established strategic
partnerships with key data center hosting companies. Mann
joined Novell upon its acquisition of JustOn, Inc., an
application service provider (ASP) startup that he co-founded.
Earlier, as director of product management for email and web
security firm Worldtalk (now Tumbleweed), Mann
launched one of the first integrated web security products for
anti-spam, anti-virus, malicious code and content inspection.
Before moving to the United States in 1996, Bill ran a
London-based IT consulting firm where he held security-related
consulting and engineering positions for major European clients.

Patti Suarez
Patti Suarez is the Senior
Manager of Information Security & Compliance for Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company
located in
Chicago. She specializes in risk management and
information protection strategy, and has designed information security
solutions for Fortune 500 clients in financial services, manufacturing,
telecommunications, and healthcare. Ms. Suarez has a broad background
in commercial security and critical infrastructure, including six years
as an Internet Security Practice manager in financial services. She is a
recognized expert in information security and compliance and regularly
consults with top executives on security issues.
She
is a frequent guest speaker at conferences and seminars throughout the
United States, presenting at SAP’s Tech Ed, ASUG’s Annual Conference,
ASUG Chicago chapter events, and Technology Executive Forum.
Ms. Suarez is a Certified
Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and holds a Bachelor
degree in Telecommunications from
Roosevelt University. She is currently pursuing her
Masters in Information Security and Privacy Law from John Marshall Law
School in Chicago.

Neil Witek
Neil Witek is a Program Manager with
Halock Security Labs. In this role, Neil is responsible for the
coordination and communication associated with
Halock’s most
strategic engagements. Neil's primary focus is on
unique projects involving the development of information
security programs, security assessments/audits, IT security
architecture, IT engineering/implementation and advanced
remediation efforts. Neil’s responsibilities include the
overall performance and growth of
Halock’s Governance & Strategy
Services group with an emphasis on ISO 27001 based security
programs. His passion is to build and lead technology focused
teams while leveraging his hands-on experience accumulated as a
17-year veteran of IT working with clients demanding a higher
level of sophistication regarding IT security,
control and governance.
